Scotland- Part2

Edinburgh Part2


Ok so i said i went to Edinburgh twice right? This is the 2nd time i was there. And we went to see this thing called the military parade. Its a huge celebration they have each year at the castle... something like our NDP. And this year.. they had singapore performing. Our police band made an appearance! and can you spot the lion dance in the middle there??? we had a lion dance too! haha... it was pretty cool. At this was towards the end... where all the different groups play their bands together... and it was so funny coz the stupid lion was so out of place.. got no where to stand... so they just chuck him in the middle...

St. Andrews

Here is when i took a day trip to St. Andrews- about 30min away from me. Have to take a bridge across.. but the day we went there was so misty! like we walked along the beach and you wouldnt even be able to see the ocean! it was really bizarre! havent experienced anything like tt... it was interesting.... but as u can see in the pic... it was real misty. It is a nice town nonetheless! apparently prince charles or williams... duno which one went there for college.. and that place is huge for golfing. I will go there more often to look for my prince! haha...

Inverness- Loch Ness

So have u guys heard of the loch ness monster!?!? so last week i spent my weekend trying to find it but of coz i was able to scare it off! haha... it is such a pretty lake though!!! the scenery was amazing and it was so peaceful there... scenery there was amazing. we took a cruise along the lake... and it was a nice cruise along the lake.

ok... so this is what i have been doing so far here in scotland... travelling! haha... i am trying to get as much in as possible during their 'summer' before it gets cold and i wanna just hibernate!

From Scotland... Part1

Ok so i have finally decided to blog... since i have been MIA-ing... according to XY. =P though i think i have more blogs that anyone! haha... Anyways... Vic i think you have seen most of the photos below... but these are just for you all who havent seen them... i have ten million pics already... so i just took out one from each section of my life here in Scotland! I am loving it here... very pretty country. Scenery is excellent, just weather is kinda crappy. Everyday have to check weather forecast... see if it is going to rain or not! And it is like 14C outside right now when it issuppose to be summer! Damn crappy... but other than that... it is nice. Not going to talk about work coz its boring...

My Apartment

This is the living room of my apartment... its pretty nice by the river... with a park near it. i stay about 1/2 hr away from work in a city called Dundee (and i work in Arbroath)

Aberdeen weekend

One of the weekend trips i took to Aberdeen about 1hr away from where i stay. This was at the beach at the Aberdeen harbor. Got alot of beaches here... since i am at the North Sea... but WAY too cold to swim! Can just walk and look and see... and imagine you are warm. haha... And that's my friend i used to work with in Dallas, and she was in Scotland for a few weeks for work so i have been meeting up with her on weekends to check the country out.

Edinburgh Weekend

My fav city so far in Scotland... really pretty and old and historic. This is the view from the Edinburgh castle.. overlooking the city. Its about an hr south of where i am... have been up there twice already and i want to go again!

Arbroath Cliffs
This place is right by my work... about like 5min away. I didnt check this out until recently.. and i didn't know Arbroath had such pretty place! I went there like 3 days in a row since i found out about it! It is really very pretty there... nice walk...The first day we went there we walked for like 4 hrs! Can just walk by the cliffs... then climb down to the 'beaches/coves' and walk along the water. And inside each got like caves and stuff to explore. My fav. place to go after work now!
